Christianity – A Worldview
The basic problem of Christians in regard to society and in regard to government is that we are seeing things in bits and pieces instead of totals. We have very gradually become disturbed over permissiveness, pornography, the public schools, the breakdown of the family, euthanasia, abortion, etc. Unfortunately many of us have not viewed this in totality each being a part, a symptom, of a much larger problem. We have failed to acknowledge that all of this has come about due to a shift in worldview. That is, through a fundamental change in the way people think and view the world and life as a whole. As a general rule people in society do not view the God of the Bible as relevant and they have no clue about His perspective on the symptoms listed above. We as Christians will be held accountable for this ignorance that our society has about God, especially in the person of Jesus Christ.
